NON-JUDGMENTAL SUPERPOWER
“keep judgments private. people trust you. that's your superpower.”
The Lesson
The easiest superpower to acquire: be non-judgmental. When people see you being judgmental about any group, they assume you might privately judge them too. Result: they trust you less and share less with you. You're giving away power. Keep your judgmental thoughts to yourself. You can still have them, just don't share them. Gossip is different (biological reasons). But adding judgment to observations is pure power giveaway. Don't do it. Watch how much this changes your relationships and your life.
Real-World Example
A founder criticizes a competitor's strategy in front of their team. Team thinks: 'If they judge others this harshly, what do they say about us?' Trust drops. Better approach: observe without adding judgment. 'Interesting approach. Let's focus on what we're doing.' Team feels safe. Safe teams share more, take more risks, perform better.
