LIFE STRATEGY FOR LONGEVITY

brain strategy + body strategy + skill stacking = longevity system.

The Lesson

Around age 50, shift to a longevity strategy. Brain strategy: never stop learning, keep challenging yourself, quit alcohol, work forever (but lighter), keep communicating. Body strategy: switch from high-impact sports to walks, balance work, stress reduction, functional fitness (stairs, moving boxes), and protecting your knees. Lose mobility and you lose everything. Skill stacking: combine complementary skills (drums + persuasion, humor + news analysis, fitness + writing). Smart multitasking: always do two things at once (exercise while learning, network while working, combine fitness with social life). Your skill stack should support your strategy at your current life stage.

Real-World Example

A 48-year-old founder shifts strategy. Brain: starts learning Spanish (challenge), cuts alcohol (clarity), joins a Toastmasters (communication). Body: replaces basketball with swimming (no knee risk), adds balance exercises, walks during calls. Skill stack: Spanish + their Latin American market expansion. Multitask: Spanish podcasts during workouts, networking at the pool. Every activity serves multiple purposes. They're not just working. They're building a system for another 40 productive years.
