The Lesson
You know what makes you successful, but what's the order? Sleep comes first. It gives you energy for everything else. Good sleep also reduces hunger (sleepiness triggers hunger signals). Diet comes second. It gives you health. Fitness third. It gives you power in romance, employment, everything. Then build your talent stack. If you wildly vary your sleep patterns based on weekends or holidays, you're not serious about success. Get sleep right and all the rest becomes easier. They're all connected, but sleep is foundational.
Real-World Example
A founder burning out tries to fix everything at once: gym membership, diet app, online courses. All fail. They try the ordered approach: first, fix sleep-same bedtime every night, no screens before bed. Two weeks later, they're less hungry and have energy for morning workouts. A month later, diet improves naturally. Three months in, they have bandwidth to learn new skills. Sleep was the keystone.
