WORDS CREATE REALITY

The Lesson
What do the Bible, hypnosis, AI, and simulation theory have in common? Words. 'In the beginning was the word.' Holy books work because of specific word arrangements. Hypnosis changes words in your head to change how you think. AI creates something like intelligence from nothing but word combinations (large language models). Words are really just zeros and ones. And if combinations of zeros and ones can create intelligence, what about combinations of matter and non-matter in the universe? Could the universe be full of simulated life-accidental arrangements of matter that created conscious simulations? Quantum physics suggests we might be in one.
Real-World Example
A founder studying AI realizes: intelligence emerged from word patterns. Their own thoughts are word patterns. Their company's culture is word patterns. They become obsessed with getting the words right-mission statements, product copy, internal communication. The insight: words aren't just describing reality, they're creating it. Change the words, change what emerges.
